During your initial consultation, Dr. Batterton will examine your teeth and discuss your treatment options. Our team will take X-rays of your mouth to ensure that veneers suit you. If he determines that you’re a candidate for veneers, he will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be used to create your custom-made veneers.
It usually takes two to three weeks for your veneers to be made. During this time, you will wear temporary veneers. Once your permanent veneers are ready, you will come back to our office to have them placed.
The process of placing veneers is quicker and easier than placing crowns. First, your teeth will be cleaned and prepared. Next, the veneers will be placed on your teeth and checked for fit. Once the veneers are in the correct position, they will be bonded to your teeth using a special adhesive.
