Reason for choosing dentistry:
I received my first opportunity to work in a dental office when I was 19, by my sister who was a regional manager for a dental franchise. I had assumed it would just be a job to get me through until I was done with college. However, I immediately found joy in the personal interactions with patients and looked forward to learning more from a business and clinical perspective. I was hooked.
How long have you worked for the dental office:
I joined Dr. Batterton’s office in August of 2016 and feel very blessed to be a part of this team.
I received an Associate of Arts from Lorain County Community College in 1998. I completed a Dental Assisting training program and obtained my Dental Radiographers’ License in 2016.
I was raised in Wellington, Ohio, a small farm town southwest of Cleveland. Except for a few brief relocations to Florida and North Carolina, I have lived in Delaware, Ohio for almost 20 years.
Family & Outside Interests:
When not working, I spend time with my favorite people, which are my 3 children. Whether we’re on the go with their activities or being lazy at home, I’m at my happiest when we’re together. I also enjoy hiking, cross stitching and playing in my flower garden.
