ANN STEINBERGER, Patient Support, Assistant
Reason for choosing dentistry:
My decision to enter the dental field was not an easy one because I’ve always been a little afraid of the dentist. However, I wanted to face my fears and I enjoy helping people, so after a lot of thought I decided to enroll in a dental assisting program.
I went to school for dental assisting at the Ohio Institute for Health Careers.
How long have you been employed at the office?
I’ve worked for Dr. Batterton since December of 2009.
I was born in Roswell, New Mexico but my father was in the Marine Corps so I grew up in a lot of places. I have lived in New Mexico, California, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. My family and I moved to Ohio from Colorado in 2003.
I stay very busy taking my children back and forth to all of their activities, but in my free time I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, reading, and hiking.
My husband Frank and I have been married since 1994. He is an Engineering Lead for JP Morgan Chase. We chose to live in Delaware when we moved to Ohio because we liked the small town atmosphere. We have four wonderful children, 1 boy and 3 girls. They keep us very busy with Jr. ROTC, band, orchestra, dance, and horseback riding. As a family, we love going to amusement parks, Hocking Hills, COSI, and zoos/aquariums.
Other Fun Facts:
My grandmother is a twin, her younger sister had twins, my husband is a twin, his older sisters are twins, and we have twins.
