I have the opportunity to help people feel better, look better, and be healthier in a very personal way. It may be as simple as restoring a chipped
tooth to its original condition, or as complex as a full mouth reconstruction. Sometimes it is just helping a frightened child feel comfortable enough
to laugh and joke with me during a procedure.
I was born in Longbeach, CA and grew up in San Diego. I did my undergraduate work at the University of Southern California. One of the things I
enjoyed most at USC was playing trombone in the band. As part of the USC band I had some fun and unique experiences. For example, we played
at a World Series game as well as Raiders and Rams football games; the band was even featured in the movie Naked Gun 2½ . From USC, I went to
dental school at the University of California at San Francisco, and then came to Columbus for an Advanced General Dentistry residency at Ohio State.
Over the next several years, I worked for 4 different dental offices in the Columbus area, which gave me the chance to determine what style of
dental practice was the best fit for me. I decided to start my own practice in Delaware because I strongly value the community here, and was
presented with a wonderful opportunity by Dr. Larry Dixon, a local dentist who was considering retirement after 35 years. This opportunity allowed
me to establish my own patient-centered practice. I feel very fortunate to serve and be a part of the Delaware community.
I am married to Vicki DiLillo, who teaches psychology at Ohio Wesleyan, and we have a 4 year old son named Benjamin. Benjamin has a great sense of
humor and comes up with funny jokes and silly antics that keep Vicki and me laughing. He is also a golf fanatic who, despite the fact that I am not
a regular golfer, asks almost daily to play at one of the local courses. We enjoy the outdoors and are looking forward to hiking and camping as a
family in the years to come.
